STANDARD SUBSCRIPTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. These Standard Subscription Terms and Conditions ("Standard Terms") govern your subscription(s) to newspapers published by Singapore Press Holdings Limited ("SPH"), irrespective of the delivery platform or means of access. SPH has the right to amend these Standard Terms from time to time by posting any amendments on its website, and you agree to be bound by these amendments.
  2. All subscription packages and prices reflected on this website are applicable to home subscriptions only.
  3. You must be 18 years old and above to subscribe to our services. If you are below 18 years old, please get your parent or guardian to undertake the subscription.
  4. You also agree to be bound by any specific terms governing payment, subscription fees, minimum subscription periods, entitlements to any gift or premium under any promotion, termination fees and delivery fees which are applicable to your subscription as set out in our application forms for the relevant subscription packages and payment terms you have selected.
  5. SPH has the right to vary subscription fees payable or any other term relating to your subscription from time to time upon giving you at least 14 days' prior notice.
  6. Please take note that if you have opted to take delivery of the print edition of your subscribed newspapers, the applicable Delivery Fee, once charged, is non-refundable. Delivery Fees are charged by residential type, and will be charged by per subscriber account per delivery address.
  7. You should receive a letter acknowledging your subscription within 30 days of confirming your subscription.
  8. All subscription fees are due in advance. Please ensure that payment is made and cleared by your bank before each monthly/annual recurring payment is due. For payments by credit card, your credit card account must be in good standing and remain valid for the monthly/annual charge(s) to be debited successfully. If your credit card has expired, or if you wish to use a different credit card, you must notify us promptly by contacting our Customer Service – Circulation department at least 14 days before your next subscription fee payment is due. If you fail to provide us such notice in a timely manner, you shall be liable for any prevailing administrative, termination or other fees which SPH may impose in accordance with clause 9 below.
  9. Your subscription will continue and be renewed automatically on a monthly basis after the first month/year until you expressly instruct us that you wish to terminate your subscription by providing us with at least 30 days’ prior notice in writing at SPH LIMITED, 82 Genting Lane, Media Centre, Level 2 Circulation Division, Customer Service, Singapore 349567. If the minimum subscription period applicable to your subscription has not yet expired as at the date of such termination, the prevailing administrative, termination or other fees shall also be due and payable by you. Unless otherwise stated by SPH, any renewal of your subscription will be on the then prevailing subscription terms therefor.
  10. If timely payment of your subscription fees or other payments due from you is not made for any reason, or if you breach any other terms and conditions that are applicable to your subscription, SPH may, without prejudice to its rights and remedies at law to recover any sums due from you, suspend or terminate your subscription without further notice or obligation to you and you may be subject to the prevailing administrative, termination or other fees.
  11. If you experience any issues pertaining to delivery of newspapers (including but not limited to non-delivery of print edition of newspapers), please alert us promptly by contacting our Customer Service no later than two (2) days after the date of the newspaper(s) in question.
  12. In the event of any discrepancies or inaccuracies in your invoice/statement/records relating to the payment for your subscription, you must notify us promptly by contacting our Customer Service – Circulation department no later than fourteen (14) days from the date of the invoice/statement/records for us to investigate into the matter, otherwise our records shall be conclusive of the amounts due from you and we will not entertain any disputes in relation to the same.
  13. You confirm that the information provided in your subscription application form is true and correct at the point of application, and undertake to promptly inform SPH if there are any changes to the information provided from time to time.
  14. You may seek a temporary suspension of delivery of print newspaper(s) ("Temporary Stop") by making a Temporary Stop request online at our website at www.sphsubscription.com.sg (click on "Temporary Stop" option under "My Services" section). You agree that any Temporary Stop request (a) is offered on a goodwill basis only and is subject to SPH’s approval in its absolute discretion, (b) must be made at least three (3) clear working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) before its intended start date, and (c) must be for a minimum of 3 consecutive days and cannot exceed 30 consecutive days per request.
  15. If you are a Print-only subscriber and your Temporary Stop request is approved for duration of at least 8 days, SPH may in its absolute discretion offer a refund or credit of your subscription for the duration of the Temporary Stop, up to a maximum of 30 days per calendar year in aggregate. All-in-One subscribers are not entitled to any refund or credit of subscription for any Temporary Stop of any duration as they will continue to have access to digital editions of their subscribed publications.
  16. You agree and acknowledge that notwithstanding any approval by SPH of a Temporary Stop request, SPH does not undertake or guarantee that all delivery personnel will carry out Temporary Stop requests without error or at all. In such event, notwithstanding Clause 14, you remain liable to pay for all newspapers delivered to you during any Temporary Stop period requested. SPH shall not be liable for any loss or damage which you may suffer in connection with any continued delivery of newspaper(s) or any Temporary Stop request.
  17. You agree and consent to SPH and its related corporations (collectively, "SPH Group") collecting, using and disclosing your personal data for the purposes of processing your subscription application and to provide you with the products and services you have requested. These purposes are set out in the SPH Privacy Policy which can be found at http://sph.com.sg/legal/sph_privacy.html and which may be amended from time to time.
  18. You agree to the SPH Member Terms and Conditions which can be found at http://sph.com.sg/legal/member_conditions.html and which may be amended from time to time. You agree that SPH’s decision on all matters or disputes relating to or in connection with your subscription and any matters ancillary thereto (including without limitation payment, delivery, promotions or eligibility requirements) are final and conclusive on you. In the event of conflict between these Standard Terms and the SPH Member Terms and Conditions, these Standard Terms shall prevail.
  19. SPH may, by notice in writing posted on its website, assign all of its rights and interests relating to or in connection with your subscription to a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPH (the “Transferee”) without your consent.
  20. Without prejudice and in addition to the right under clause 19 above, SPH may, by notice in writing posted on its website (the “Notification”), transfer and/or novate all of its rights, interests, obligations and liabilities relating to or in connection with your subscription to the Transferee, and you shall not withhold your consent thereto. For the avoidance of doubt, you hereby consent to (a) the assignment of all rights of SPH relating to or in connection with your subscription to the Transferee, (b) the assumption by the Transferee of all liabilities of SPH relating to or in connection with your subscription, (c) the release of all obligations of SPH relating to or in connection with your subscription, and (d) the Transferee taking the place of SPH as if it were named in all documents relating to or in connection with your subscription as a party thereto in place of SPH, in each case with effect from such effective date as may be informed in the Notification.
  21. SPH has the right to vary or amend any terms and conditions which may apply to your subscription upon notice in writing by posting to SPH’s website.

  1. 此份标准订阅条款与条件(简称"标准条款")适用于您所订阅的新加坡报业控股(简称"报业控股")报刊,包含所有报刊平台、登录阅读帐号。报业控股有权利在其官方网站随时修改此标准条款,并且您同意接受任何标准条款修改的约束。
  2. 所有订阅配套及价格显示在此网站/表格仅适用于住家订户。
  3. 您必须年满18岁才能订阅报业控股之报刊。如果您未满18岁,请由您的父母或监护人完成/填写此份订阅表格。
  4. 您的订阅在我们的订阅表格中所列出相关的订阅配套及您所选择的付款条件,您也同意并被约束于任何特别条款指定款项、订阅费、最短订阅期、任何订阅优惠活动所获得的赠品、订阅取消费及派送费等。
  5. 报业控股有权利在14天前向您通知任何订阅费的调整或修改关于您订阅报刊的条款与条件。
  6. 如果您一旦确定要派送所订阅的报刊,派送费完成支付后就不得退款。派送费将依据您所居住的住宅类型有所区别,且派送费依据每位订户的帐户及派送地址计算。
  7. 一旦报业控股确认您的订阅后,您会于30天内收到订阅确认函。
  8. 所有订阅费都是以预先支付方式付款。请确保您的银行户口得以支付每月/年的订阅款项。关于信用卡支付,请确保您的信用卡帐户保持良好信用并且能成功支付每月/年的订阅款项。如果您的信用卡已经过期或您希望使用不同的信用卡,请于每月/年款项支付前14天向我们的发行部客服中心联络。如果您未能在款项支付前14天通知我们,您必须承担支付报业控股所要求的相关行政费、订阅取消费或其它费用。
  9. 从您开始订阅报刊第一个月后,您的订阅每月会自动续约直到您向我们通知停止订阅服务。若您要停止订阅,请于30天前以书面通知邮寄到SPH LIMITED, 82 Genting Lane, Media Centre, Level 2 Circulation Division, Customer Service, Singapore 349567。如果您的合约最短订阅期尚未到期,您必须支付行政费、合约取消等其它费用。
  10. 如果您未于缴费期限内支付订阅费及其它因素未能缴清欠款或违反任何条款与条件,报业控股可在不影响其在法律上之权利向您要求支付欠款或者在无任何提前通知下停止您的订阅服务且您必须支付相关行政费或其它订阅取消等费用。
  11. 如果您遇到任何报纸派送问题(包含但不仅限于印刷版报纸未派送问题),请于发生派送问题的2天内向我们的发行部客服中心联络。
  12. 如果您在订阅过程中,发票、结单或纪录有任何差异或不符合您的订阅款项,您必须在收到发票、结单或纪录14天内向我们的发行部客户服务中心联络以调查问题原因,否则我们的记录则是决定您所最终所需支付的金额,我们不会接受任何的申诉及退款。
  13. 您确认在送出订阅表格时所提供资料是正确的并且保证如果有任何更改都必须向报业控股立刻进行通知。
  14. 您可通过我们的网站www.sphsubscription.com.sg登录(点击"My Services"中的"Temporary Stop")进行暂停派送印刷版报纸服务(简称"暂停派报服务")。您同意这项暂停派报服务 (a) 是报业控股提供便利之服务且保有最终决定处理权 (b) 至少需在3个工作天前(不包含星期六、日及公共假期)完成暂停派报 (c)且每次至少暂停3天以上及最多不超过30天。
  15. 如果您是印刷版订户且您所使用的暂停派报服务已被确认,并且每次至少暂停8天以上,每年最多不超过30天,报业控股将根据您的暂停天数退还部份款项或馀额退还。多合一综合配套(All-in-One)订户使用暂停派报服务,不得享有任何退款或馀额退还之权利因为订户仍然可继续使用数码平台阅读报刊。
  16. 您同意且确认无论报业控股批准您的暂停派报需求,报业控股并不承担或保证所有暂停派报服务无任何差错。在上述情况下,无论您是否符合标准订阅条款与条件中的第14条,订户仍然需支付在暂停派报期间所有报刊订阅费用,且无论订户是否继续收到报纸或已要求暂停派报服务,报业控股不会承担订户任何损失。
  17. 您同意且准许报业控股及其子公司(统称"报业控股集团")收集、使用、透露您的个人资料作为订阅申请使用及提供您要求的产品及服务。 这些用途详载于新加坡报业控股个人隐私政策http://sph.com.sg/legal/sph_privacy.html且报业控股有权利随时修改。
  18. 您同意新加坡报业会员控股条款与条件列在http://sph.com.sg/legal/member_conditions.html且报业控股可随时修改此条款与条件。您也同意所有报业控股的最终决定若关于到您的订阅或影响其它任何附带纠纷(包含但不仅限于订阅款项、派送、促销活动或其它参加需求)是不可被否决的。
  19. 报业控股可以通过其网站上的书面通知,在未经您同意的情况下将您的订阅相关或有联繫的所有权利和利益转让给SPH的全资子公司(“受让方”)。
  20. 除了不偏离上述第19条所规定的权利外,报业控股还有额外权利,报业控股除了通过其网站上的书面通知(简称“通知”)之外,也可转让和/或否定关于您的订阅所有权利、利益、义务和责任给受让方,您不得拒绝。 为避免疑问,您特此同意(a)转让您订阅相关的所有或相关权利给受让方,(b)受让方承担报业控股订阅相关的所有责任 (c)发布您与报业控股订阅的所有义务,以及(d)受让人代替报业控股,命名所有您与报业控股订阅的所有或相关文件,在每种情况下均从通知的生效日期起生效。

Promotion Terms and Conditions

CONTRACT SUBSCRIPTION PROMOTION – THE BUSINESS TIMES ALL-DIGITAL & GRAB CAMPAIGN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The terms herein apply in addition to our Standard Terms and Conditions where you are subscribing for a newspaper with a gift or other promotion (“Premium”) subject to a Minimum Subscription Period as hereafter defined.
  2. This promotion is valid during the period from 16 November 2017 till 28 December 2017 for our Business Times (BT) All-Digital home subscription package (the “Package”) in Singapore only, for a Minimum Subscription Period of twelve (12) months. This promotion is not valid with other promotions and bundle deals.
  3. The promotional price for this subscription is $0.99 per month for the first three (3) months and $29.90 per month from the fourth (4th) till the twelfth (12th) month. Thereafter, the prevailing subscription price of $34.90 per month will apply. Subscribers will also be entitled to $80 Grab vouchers valid for use on all Grab services except GrabHitch and GrabShuttle.
  4. $80 worth of promotional codes will be given in a set of 16 $5 physical vouchers. Each voucher can only be used once, and only one voucher can be used per trip. Vouchers will be sent to subscribers via registered mail from 1 December 2017, and are valid for use until 31 May 2018. Subscribers can follow the steps printed on the voucher to redeem their discount. Vouchers are valid for use on all Grab services except GrabHitch and GrabShuttle.   5. Eligibility
      5.1. The following groups of subscribers are eligible for this promotion:
        5.1.1 New subscribers: Subscribers who do not currently have a subscription to the Package.

        5.1.2 Vendor subscribers: Existing subscribers who are currently paying their BT subscription fee to a newspaper vendor (Upon subscription under this promotion, these subscribers will be converted to direct subscribers).

      5.2 The following groups of subscribers are not eligible for this promotion:
        5.2.1 Existing BT subscribers with contract.

        5.2.2 Existing BT subscribers who renew or upgrade their subscriptions.

        5.2.3 Subscribers who subscribed or terminated their BT subscription in the past 90 days.
  6. For information on when your subscription to the Package will commence, please refer to the table below:

  7. To qualify for a Premium, you must (a) take up a New Subscription (as defined below) to the Package, (b) agree to maintain your subscription without any change of your subscription package for the entire duration of the minimum subscription period applicable to the relevant publication (“Minimum Subscription Period”) and (c) your duly completed subscription application form must be received by SPH within the relevant promotion period (“Promotion Period”). Requests for extensions of the Promotion Period will not be entertained, and applications for subscriptions received by SPH after the Promotion Period will not qualify. SPH has the right to determine your eligibility for any Premium promotion at its sole and absolute discretion and its decision thereon shall be final and binding.
  8. A subscription to a publication is a “New Subscription” if no member of the same household has at any time previously subscribed to the Package directly with SPH or terminated the same within ninety (90) days of the submission of the subscription application. For the purposes of the terms herein, a “household" refers to a domestic unit comprising members of the same family who have the same billing address and/or delivery address. Only one (1) Premium may be redeemed or enjoyed per eligible subscription, per household.
  9. SPH has the right and discretion to substitute any Premium with any other premium of similar value.
  10. Where a Premium is offered by SPH in connection with your subscription, the following additional terms apply: (a) The Premium is only available whilst stocks last. Strictly no exchange or re-election of any Premium is allowed after the subscription application is submitted to SPH; (b) You agree and acknowledge that no representations or warranties of any kind, implied, express or statutory, including without limitation the warranties of non-infringement of third party rights, title, merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose, are given by SPH in respect of any gift Premium. SPH will not entertain any requests to issue any refund or grant an exchange in respect of any gift Premium that is found to be faulty or not fit for use; and (c) Premiums must be redeemed/purchased by subscribers in accordance with the instructions and terms as stated on the Gift Redemption Letter which you will receive within 6 to 8 weeks after the commencement of your subscription. Gift Premiums which are not redeemed/purchased by you within 3 months of the Gift Redemption Letter (or such other period stated in the letter) will be forfeited. In such event, for the avoidance of doubt, your obligations under the terms herein (including without limitation to maintain the subscription for the Minimum Subscription Period) will continue to apply in full.
  11. Upon expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period, you agree that your subscription for the same publication will continue in force on the then prevailing terms for such subscriptions (“Contract Subscription”) until and unless you provide SPH with notice in writing that you wish to terminate in accordance with the said terms.
  12. If you terminate your Contract Subscription before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, or during the Minimum Subscription Period you fail to pay to SPH any sums as and when due and SPH exercises its rights under the Standard Terms to terminate your subscription, the following fees and charges shall also be due and payable by you to SPH upon notice by SPH:
    1. administrative fee of $20;
    2. termination fee of $100
  13. Unless SPH has stated expressly otherwise, each subscriber may only enjoy one promotional or Premium offer at any time, which may not be applied in conjunction with any other promotions or offers.

CONTRACT SUBSCRIPTION PROMOTION – THE STRAITS TIMES & SAMSUNG-M1 CAMPAIGN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The terms herein apply in addition to our Standard Terms and Conditions where you are subscribing for a newspaper with a gift or other promotion (“Premium”) subject to a Minimum Subscription Period as hereafter defined.
  2. This promotion in collaboration with M1 Limited (“Partner”) is valid during the period from 3 November 2017 till 14 December 2017 for our Straits Times (ST) All-Digital home subscription package (the “Package”) in Singapore only, for a Minimum Subscription Period of twelve (12) months. This promotion is not valid with other promotions and bundle deals.
  3. The promotional price for this subscription is $0.99 per month for the first six (6) months and $29.90 per month from the seventh (7th) till the twelfth (12th) month. Thereafter, the prevailing subscription price of $34.90 per month will apply. Subscribers will also be entitled to purchase the specified Samsung product with a mobile contract as indicated in our redemption email.
  4. Eligibility
      4.1. The following groups of subscribers are eligible for this promotion:
        4.1.1. New subscribers: Subscribers who do not currently have a subscription to the Package.

        4.1.2. Vendor subscribers: Existing subscribers who are currently paying their ST subscription fee to a newspaper vendor (Upon subscription under this promotion, these subscribers will be converted to direct subscribers).
      4.2. The following groups of subscribers are not eligible for this promotion:
        4.2.1. All existing ST subscribers with contract.

        4.2.2. Existing subscribers to the Package without contract who renew or upgrade their subscriptions.

        4.2.3. Existing subscribers who subscribe to a bundle package.

        4.2.4. Subscribers who had subscribed or terminated their ST subscription in the past 90 days.
  5. For information on when your subscription to the Package will commence, please refer to the table below:

SPH and/or SPH’s Partner will not entertain any requests to issue any refund or grant an exchange in respect of any Premium that is found to be faulty or not fit for use; and (c) where relevant, you consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data by SPH for the purposes of being contacted by SPH’s Partner in connection with the redemption/purchase of the Premium (in accordance with SPH’s Partner’s Terms and Conditions), as distinct from notwithstanding and/or superseding your prior consent/non-consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data by SPH for the purpose of receiving marketing information from SPH and its related corporations or SPH’s service providers on products or services offered by SPH or other parties. (d) Premiums must be redeemed/purchased by subscribers in accordance with the instructions and terms as stated on the Gift Redemption Email/Letter which you will receive within 4-8 working days after the commencement of your subscription. Gift Premiums which are not redeemed/purchased by you within 3 months of the Gift Redemption Letter (or such other period stated in the letter) will be forfeited. For avoidance of doubt, your rights and obligations vis-à-vis SPH’s Partner (particularly in connection with the redemption/purchase of a Premium from SPH’s Partner) are distinct from your obligations under your subscription to SPH, and such obligations vis-à-vis SPH shall not be affected in any way by any failure to redeem/purchase the Premium from SPH’s Partner. In such event, for the avoidance of doubt, your obligations under the terms herein (including without limitation to maintain the subscription for the Minimum Subscription Period) will continue to apply in full.
  10. Upon expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period, you agree that your subscription for the same publication will continue in force on the then prevailing terms for such subscriptions until and unless you provide SPH with notice in writing that you wish to terminate in accordance with the said terms.
  11. If you terminate your subscription before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, or during the Minimum Subscription Period you fail to pay to SPH any sums as and when due and SPH exercises its rights under the Standard Terms to terminate your subscription, the following fees and charges shall also be due and payable by you to SPH upon notice by SPH:
      a. administrative fees of $20; and
      b. termination fees of $100 if the Minimum Subscription Period is twelve (12) months, $200 if the Minimum Subscription Period is twenty-four (24) months, or $500 if the Minimum Subscription is thirty-six (36) months.
  12. You agree and acknowledge that: (i) all matters relating to your purchase of the specified Samsung product are to be resolved solely between you and M1; and (ii) SPH shall not be responsible for any discrepancies or charges (if any) in respect of the same. SPH reserves the right and discretion to change the model of the Samsung product offering and price without giving prior notice. This optional Premium is available for purchase till 31 January 2018 at appointed M1 retail store/s, while stocks last.
  13. Unless SPH has stated expressly otherwise, each subscriber may only enjoy one promotional or Premium offer at any time, which may not be applied in conjunction with any other promotions or offers.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE8 PURCHASE WITH M1 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1.   1. The terms herein apply in addition to our Standard Terms and Conditions where you are subscribing for a newspaper with a gift or other promotion or promotional price (“Premium”) subject to a Subscription Period as hereafter defined.
  2. To qualify for the promotion, you must (a) take up a New Subscription, (b) agree to maintain your subscription without any change of your subscription package for the entire duration of the specified subscription period applicable to the relevant publication (“Subscription Period”), and (c) your duly completed subscription application form must be received by SPH within the relevant promotion period (“Promotion Period”).   1. The terms herein apply in addition to our Standard Terms and Conditions where you are subscribing for a newspaper with a gift or other promotion (“Premium”) subject to a Minimum Subscription Period as hereafter defined.
  2. This promotion is valid during the period from 30 Oct 2017 till 30 Nov 2017 for Lianhe Zaobao (ZB) print subscription package in Singapore only and comes with a Minimum Subscription Period of twelve (12) months.
  3. Eligibility
      3.1. The following groups of subscribers are eligible for this promotion:
        3.1.1. New subscribers: Subscribers who do not have an ZB subscription plan with SPH (For avoidance of doubt, subscribers who have subscribed to ZB in the 90 days prior to subscribing are not eligible).

        3.1.2. Vendor subscribers: Existing subscribers who are currently paying their ZB subscription fee to a newspaper vendor (Upon subscription under this promotion, these subscribers will be converted to direct subscribers).
      3.2. The following groups of subscribers are not eligible for this promotion:
        3.2.1. All existing ZB subscribers who renew or upgrade their subscriptions.

        3.2.2. ZB subscribers who have made or terminated an ZB subscription in the past 90 days.

Only one (1) Premium or Offer may be redeemed or enjoyed per eligible subscription, per household.
  7. SPH has the right and discretion to substitute any Premium with any other premium of similar value.
  8. Where a Premium is offered by SPH in connection with your subscription, the following additional terms apply: (a) The Premium is only available whilst stocks last. Strictly no exchange or re-election of any Premium is allowed after the subscription application is submitted to SPH; (b) You agree and acknowledge that no representations or warranties of any kind, implied, express or statutory, including without limitation the warranties of non-infringement of third party rights, title, merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose, are given by SPH in respect of any gift Premium. SPH will not entertain any requests to issue any refund or grant an exchange in respect of any gift Premium that is found to be faulty or not fit for use; and (c) Premiums must be redeemed/purchased by subscribers in accordance with the instructions and terms as stated on the Gift Redemption Letter which you will receive within 6 to 8 weeks after the commencement of your subscription. If you terminate your Contract Subscription before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, or during the Minimum Subscription Period you fail to pay to SPH any sums as and when due and SPH exercises its rights under the Standard Terms to terminate your subscription, the following fees and charges shall also be due and payable by you to SPH upon notice by SPH:
      a. administrative fees of $20 ;
      b. termination fees of $100 if the Minimum Subscription Period is twelve (12) months, $200 if the Minimum Subscription Period is twenty-four (24) months, or $500 if the Minimum Subscription is thirty-six (36) months.

To qualify for a Premium, you must (a) take up a New Subscription (as defined below) to the Package, (b) agree to maintain your subscription without any change of your subscription package for the entire duration of the minimum subscription period applicable to the relevant publication (“Minimum Subscription Period”) and (c) your duly completed subscription application form must be received by SPH within the relevant promotion period (“Promotion Period”). Requests for extensions of the Promotion Period will not be entertained, and applications for subscriptions received by SPH after the Promotion Period will not qualify. SPH has the right to determine your eligibility for any Premium promotion at its sole and absolute discretion and its decision thereon shall be final and binding.
  7. A subscription to a publication is a “New Subscription” if no member of the same household has at any time previously subscribed to the Package directly with SPH or terminated the same within ninety (90) days of the submission of the subscription application. For the purposes of the terms herein, a “household" refers to a domestic unit comprising members of the same family who have the same billing address and/or delivery address. Only one (1) Premium may be redeemed or enjoyed per eligible subscription, per household.
  8. SPH has the right and discretion to substitute any Premium with any other premium of similar value.
  9. Where a Premium is offered by SPH in connection with your subscription, the following additional terms apply: (a) The Premium is only available whilst stocks last. Strictly no exchange or re-election of any Premium is allowed after the subscription application is submitted to SPH; (b) You agree and acknowledge that no representations or warranties of any kind, implied, express or statutory, including without limitation the warranties of non-infringement of third party rights, title, merchantability, satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose, are given by SPH in respect of any gift Premium. SPH will not entertain any requests to issue any refund or grant an exchange in respect of any gift Premium that is found to be faulty or not fit for use; and (c) Premiums must be redeemed/purchased by subscribers in accordance with the instructions and terms as stated on the Gift Redemption Letter which you will receive within 6 to 8 weeks after the commencement of your subscription. Gift Premiums which are not redeemed/purchased by you within 3 months of the Gift Redemption Letter (or such other period stated in the letter) will be forfeited.   10. Upon expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period, you agree that your subscription for the same publication will continue in force on the then prevailing terms for such subscriptions (“Contract Subscription”) until and unless you provide SPH with notice in writing that you wish to terminate in accordance with the said terms.
  11. If you terminate your subscription before the expiry of the Minimum Subscription Period for any reason whatsoever, or during the Minimum Subscription Period you fail to pay to SPH any sums as and when due and SPH exercises its rights under the Standard Terms to terminate your subscription, the following fees and charges shall also be due and payable by you to SPH upon notice by SPH:
    • a. administrative fee of $20; and
    • b. termination fee of $100.
  12. Unless SPH has stated expressly otherwise, each subscriber may only enjoy one promotional or Premium offer at any time, which may not be applied in conjunction with any other promotions or offers.
